Located Just just 4 miles from the port at Harwich on the main A120 road into the port, Farm Cottage offers affordable overnight accommodation either prior to your 9am sailing or after your evening Ferry arrival at 20:00 or prior to your Cruise sailing.
Off road parking and Full English breakfast from just £25 per night for a single room and £40 for a double room.
Farm Cottage B&B is NOT a Hotel or a youth hostel but somewhere in between, it is run as a family home with a relaxed atmosphere, where guests are encouraged to mix with other global travellers and to share their travel stories and experiences.
Located less than 4 miles from the historic port of Harwich & Parkston Quay Ferry Terminal on the A120, we offer a rural setting with picturesque farmland views & secure off road parking in this 1930s farm cottage, giving spacious, affordable and comfortable accommodation with the personal touch. We also offer long-term car parking for guests that stay prior to their sea departure from Parkston Quay and Harwich International for the European traveller.
Our rural location with public footpaths directly adjacent to the Cottage offer scenic evening strolls across open farmland, to Wrabness Nature Reserve and the Stour Estuary, both the Cottage and surrounding countryside offer a great location for the keen Ornithologist.
Located with direct access onto the A120 and being less than 2 miles from 'Wrabness Railway Station', exploring the local countryside couldn't be simpler and with Frinton & Walton 9 miles to our south, the historic Roman Town of Colchester 9 miles to our west and the Suffolk boarder and Constable country 9 miles to our north we are very centrally located offering a good base away from the busy town centre of Harwich.
We offer single, family and double rooms, plus Camping facilities and long term parking for cruise clients. We are well known and recommended for our high level of service, cleanliness and good quality food. And the best rates/prices in the area!

"Omdat het niet langer mogelijk is ponden te krijgen op de
veerboot, kunt u het beste langs Morrison's supermarkt rijden alvorens u naar
Farm Cottage rijdt. Daar vind u 3 pinautomaten. Morrison's is gelegen direct
achter het benzinestation bij de uitgang van de haven, net voordat u de A120
oprijdt."
______________________________________________________________________________ Farm Cottage B&B is around 5 minuets by car from
Harwich International Port, or around 20 minuets by Bicycle. We are located on
the LEFT hand side of the road as you head west towards Colchester and London,
just AFTER the village of Ramsey and 1 mile from the Ramsey Junction roundabout.
As you climb the hill Farm Cottage is just over the crest. There is an off road
Lay-by where you can safely pull in and park, the Cottage has a large (40 feet)
mast with large antenna above it that can be seen from a long distance away. The
A120 can be busy at peak time so please travel with care if you are on a
bicycle. Farm Cottage is illuminated at night.
